AN ANALYSIS OF SLECETED PSYCHOLOGICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF FOOTBALL PLAYERS OF HARYANA STATEAT DISTRICT AND STATE LEVEL

In view of the objective of the present study the investigator collected the data from rural and urban (team and individual game) players from different colleges affiliated to mohanlal sukhadia university Udaipur (Raj.). The total sample 300 team and individual game players. The sample to be collected equally on gender basis, residential background and type of family of the players. The Some variable on AGGRESSION and Anxiety show in No significant difference between Rural and Urban ( Male & Female) players of Udaipur division and The Some variable on AGGRESSION and Anxiety show in significant difference between Rural and Urban ( Male & Female) players of Udaipur division.

A STUDY OF ANXIETY AMONG TOBACCO USERS AND NON-USERS

Tobacco destroy mankind among the adults is reaching pandemic levels. Countries undergoing epidemiological transition of chronic diseases caused by tobacco are rapidly overtaking the more traditional causes of mortality. Tobacco addiction in large number of adults has been initiated during the adolescents and children’s often get attracted to tobacco products because of such propaganda. There has been a rapid increase in trade and use of smokeless tobacco products in recent years in the country, which is a matter of serious concern to the health planners. It is important to understand various factors that influence and encourage young teenagers to start use tobacco products.

LICENSING OF ELECTRONIC RESOURCES: A HARD NUT TO CRACK IN COLLECTION MANAGEMENT

Electronic documents in varied forms are gaining popularity in contemporary society in preference to the print documents and their presence is being felt in every library as replacement or supplement to the print resources. Like print resources, electronic and dgital resources are expensive and consume large portion of library budget. Now the library doesn’t have the physical copy of the materials and hence there is no ownership. Publisher of electronic information product no more sell their product to libraries instead provide the access to their services and product under license. E-journals and now ever-growing demand for e-books has brought with it number of challenges for libraries.

A COMPARATIVE STUDY OF MENTAL HEALTH BETWEEN PHYSICAL EDUCATION AND NON PHYSICAL EDUCATION STUDENTS

The importance of diverse kinds of physical bodily function, physical exertion and sports for the promotion of health in general and mental wellness in particular has been punctuated by the diverse researchers. Therefore, with the intent to compare the mental health status of physical education (PE) and non-physical education (NPE) students’ present study was structured. Forty (40) students (twenty (20) PE and twenty (20) NPE) of Lucknow University, Lucknow were taken as the subjects of the work. The age of the sample ranged from 17 to 26. PE students were those who are undergoing B.P.Ed and M.P.ED course and NPE students were those who are studying in undergraduate and postgraduate at Lucknow University, Lucknow. Mental health checklist (MHC) constructed by Kumar (1992) was used to measure the mental health status of the subjects.

A COMPARATIVE STUDY OF SELECTED PHYSICAL FITNESS VARIABLES AMONG STATE LEVEL ATHLETES AND FOOTBALL PLAYERS OF DISTRICT PANIPAT

The purpose of the study was to compare the selected physical fitness variables among state level athletes and football players of District Panipat. A total no. of 40 male subjects in which 20 subjects from athletics discipline and 20 subjects from football discipline between the age group of 17-19 years were randomly selected as subjects in the present study. The selected subjects were tested on speed by 50 yards dash test, explosive power by standing broad jump test, agility by 6x10 meter shuttle run test and muscular strength was tested by sit ups test which was selected as criterion variable. It was hypothesized that there may be significant difference between athletes and football players on selected physical fitness variables.

The Purpose Of This Study Was To Characterize Elite Indian University Athletes “Psychological Profiles Of Indian Universities And Inter- Collegite Athletes” In Age Group Of 18 Years To 28 Years Of All India Inter-University And Rajasthan State Inter-College Athletics Meet. The Universities And Colleges Were Selected Randomly For This Proposes. The Size Of The Sample Was 200 All India Inter-University Male Athletes And 200 Inter-Colleges Male Athletes. For This We Have To Know The Value Of ‘T’. The Study Is To Determine The Comparative Effects Of University Athletes And College Athletes On Psychological Profile Of Indian University And Inter College Athletes Better Psychological Profile Of University Athletes.
